Title: Utilisation Avast
Post by: REDACTED on July 21, 2018, 10:41:56 AM
Hello, I am new to this forum and I would like to ask you the following question:
I just installed the free version (13.9) of Avast. I am a user of a Mac Sierra OS (10.12.6). I placed Avast Security and Avast VPN in the autostart settings when the system starts -> OK. My question: Avast is in the toolbar with the following parameters: (see print screen). Can I leave it as it is (and I am protected) or do I have to click on the "Open Avast" option to be protected?
Thank you very much for your answer

Hello,

there is no need to add Avast AV to autostart, it starts automatically from the get go. Unless you are getting red popups concerning issues with Avast, it should be working correctly and protecting you.

Kind regards,
