Sometimes, some freewares comes with some softwares included. Pay attention and do not go ahead clicking "I accept" without reading about what you're accepting.

About the uninstall, take a look here: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

What's wrong? Any error message? Are you trying the uninstall following the right steps?
You can search by YouTube videos and see if it helps.

Wait a second...

You have to follow the steps:

1. Download avastclear.exe on your desktop
2. Start Windows in Safe Mode
3. Open (execute) the uninstall utility
4. If you installed Avast in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
5. Click REMOVE
6. Restart your computer

As i can see, you're not in Safe Mode (on Windows).
If you don't know how to enter in Safe Mode, click here (https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10).

Looking at your screenshot, you also have Kaspersky installed, I just wonder if this also is having an impact. Multiple AVs on a system at the same time isn't a good idea as they can conflict.

As Raeken said you aren't in Safe Mode when you ran the Avast Uninstall Utility. However, previously you could launch it from normal mode and it should reboot into safe mode and run in safe mode, this doesn't appear to be happening. You would have to boot into safe mode manually and run it as Raeken said.
