Hello I have a problem with Avast ...
I configured Avast so that it does not scan all my storage partitions (I used the exclusion list) but it continues to randomly scan ALL my partitions ...
An idea ? How to prevent Avast from scanning all my HDDs, it was the process "AswidsAgentas.exe" the culprit.
A big thank you for all replies.
EDIT: I want to prevent Avast from scanning all my partitions except my system partition.

- Which Avast..? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
- Which version..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?
-
I have Avast Free in beta
- Last version (.2349)
- Windows 7 64 bits
- no other security software installed
- I did use "Microsoft Security Essential"
I put all my partitions except the "C:" in the exclusion list for the components "Agent of files" and "Agent suspicious actions" but nothing to do from time to time I can see via the "monitor of resource "that Avast scan my excluded partitions ... :)
It is stated that it is the process "AswidAgentas.exe" that is scanning my different partitions.
All my partitions:

Hi, can't find "AswidAgentas.exe" on my system, do you mean "aswidagenta.exe"..?
If so, that's the behavior shield - no idea why it would scan your partitions, sorry.

Yes it is the process "aswidsagenta.exe". :)
Thank you for your reply.
