Title: Web Shield script scanning of Chrome family browsers
Post by: loungehake on September 17, 2018, 11:46:45 AM
Is it only scripts in Google Chrome that can be scanned by Web Shield? What about Opera (the Chrome version) for example?

I guess that the absence of replies says that Avast does not scan Vivaldi, Opera or Comodo Dragon scripts. It might already not scan Google Chrome scripts in which case that means that script scanning by Avast is only effective for a minority of its users.

This not good for users. Firefox is the only web browser that I will now consider using. I imagine that Mozilla is more respectful of its users than Google.
