Title: Avast 4 home

Hi,

On reinstalling Win me on topp of the old one, I have now problems with Avast 4 home. The error message says: "Unknown error: Storage cannot be created for the "Splash" task."

I have already deinstalled and reinstalled once. Same result.

Please try to edit the Avast4.ini file, located in the <avast4>\data folder, and change the following entry

Database=ODBC

(in the [Common] section) to
 
Database=XML

This should help... If it does, your ODBC/Jet drivers are probably not functioning as required...
