Title: Money taken from my account without my consent

Hi

I opted for a 7 day free trial and it said renewal was manual, but asked for bank details.
later I found that £39.99 had been taken by Avast from my bank account.
I have not been sent any invoices and the Avast software only shows the free AV license listed there.

I emailed support and was told to send a screenshot of my bank statement to show the withdrawal - which I did.
Since then my emails requesting an update have been ignored and I am still missing the money.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Avast?
Should I contact my bank and report this as theft?
