Title: Avast-Free blocking computer to Brother MFC-L8900CDW

Running Avast Free, v=18.6.2349.  Just recently bought a Brother MFC-L8900CDW multi-function machine. I have MFC setup with WiFi connection. I have done extensive testing? and determined that Avast anti-virus "Web Shield" component blocks the computer from sending print job to the MFC.  Does anyone have any idea why that might be?  Does anyone have any idea of what file(s) I might exclude in the "Web Shield" component?, so I can turn it o, yet still print?  Note that I have uninstalled all unnecessary + extraneous Brother software.  No Brother processes shown running Task Manager while I've experimented.  I uninstalled Avast and then did reinstall.  It made no diff.   Is there any way I can specify an exception that connection attempts from the computer to the printer are to always be allowed?
