Hi moderators of Avast and developers,
Grisoft announced that they are the first with a free AV solution for the Vista beta 2 and that MS solved a bug to enable this. When is Avast coming up with this software?
Some people running into malware on Vista beta2 that troubles them a lot, we get reports here in the virus and worms section. Any to comment this:

Polonus, what is the last time you visited http://www.avast.com ?
The Vista compatible announcement has been there at least for two months, whereas Grisoft announced the same thing just yesterday. :P

Whereas Grisoft announced the same thing just yesterday. :P
I hope Ewido team does not become as silly as Grisoft one...
There are a lot of antivirus running on Vista and, indeed, they're not the first one :P

Well I hope avast doesn't follow Grisoft in making inaccurate claims ;D

Hi Vlk,
My sincere apologies, I have been merely in the other sections of the forum.
Could not think that we were not there, but everybody has again got this information,
if that is the benefit of this posting.

The reason for this patch was not because MS enabled support for AVG antivirus but because GriSoft had problems coding support for Vista. At least it appears so because avast! works on Vista without any extra patches from Microsoft.

Hi all...
What was the "bug?" Why could Alwil code around it but Grisoft couldn't ???
Best Regards...
