My Win10 installation is infected by crtmatix.com, pushing unsolicited messages (as Windows messages) to me. I have two PCs and both are affected. I have Avast Internet Security in latest versions on both, but the malware has not been identified. A complete virus scan does not catch it either. Any advise please?

OK thanks - I will try that. Why is it that Avast does not catch it? And will AdwCleaner install side-to-side with Avast or do I need to disable/uninstall Avast internet security?

No security program have 100% detection
AdwCleaner is a program that remove browser crap and should run fine with avast
Also note that some of these crap is classed as PUP possible unwanted programs. Avast PUP detection is default OFF and must be turned ON if you wante PUP detection
