Title: Avast blocks Firefox traffic when HTTPS scanning is enabled
Post by: REDACTED on September 28, 2018, 09:39:15 PM
Hello,

When I use Web SHield -> HTTPS Scaning on Avast Premier and open anything in Firefox 63b9 I get an error: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

HTTP Strict Transport Security: false
HTTP Public Key Pinning: false

This does not happen to Google Chrome however I prefer to use Firefox.

It happens since today (28.09.2018), and it did not happen before. Disabling HTTPS Scanning does the trick but shuts down a layer of protection as well. Any other solutions for this?

Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.
