Anyone know how to reset your Virus Protection setting in Microsoft Security Center after re-registering a license key (it has expired). I am still getting an error msg that avast is out of date.... ???

Did you enter the new registration key ?

Check your system date especially the month and year.

entered and date is oct 2007....

Oct 2007 doesn't sounds right, does it? :)
Why don't you fix it?
