Title: Can I delete a password with the free Avast?
Post by: REDACTED on October 03, 2018, 08:08:49 AM
I have so many passwords for the same site. How do I delete the ones I no longer want or are wrong? Avast passwords just seems to keep saving them. Or do I need to pay for the Premium version of avast?

You should be able to delete these from the Passwords component in Avast Free.

Please open the application window (right click on the Avast icon in the system tray and select "Open Avast user interface" or open from your Desktop shortcut if you have one) > click "Privacy" on the left hand side > select the "Passwords" tile.

All your passwords will be displayed on tiles here, showing the website and username, with a separate tile for each password (even if it's for the same site and username). To check which password is being stored, please click the tile, and then click the eye icon to the far right of the hidden password. You can delete the password and tile by clicking "Edit" > click "Delete".
