Might be a bug, wait for one of the devs and/or submit a ticket: https://support.avast.com/contact

Hi ,I have just chatted with online support regarding this issue, only to find the bank mode will not currently support the password manager Avast Passwords. No ETA as to a fix if ever. This was for Avast Premier but the support person said it was across all products. As this is an advertised feature that doesn't work it should be made clear to all users especially when paid users. Very disappointed as it used to work very well in previous versions. I trust that my displeasure will motivate developers to a solution. Keep protesting.

I've just tried this with latest 19.2 version and it was working for me without issues. All I had to do extra was to enable Avast Password manager in secure browser (again) once I was in Bank Mode. It looks like secure browser in bank mode session doesn't inherit user settings from secure browser running in user session.

Thanks for the reply Dan, It would seem an update was due. I can now see the password manager icon lit up as it should be. Just shows what the support team don't know or are able to accomplish given a push. Very grateful, I can now get back to work safely. Regards Pip

That is correct as Bank Mode is a different desktop environment altogether.
