Title: Activation code does not work?

In Avast internet security I go to 'my licenses' and add the activation code, which is accepted.

However when I go back to the home screen there is a message stating my pc should run better and I can solve the issue. But when I click on that, it asks me to choose for a new license and pay for it!

How to solve this?

You can disable the ads in the paid versions: Avast GUI -> Settings -> Privacy
