Title: avast=no internet connection?

hi,
i've installed Avast Home Edition and now my computer can't connects to internet. why?
please help me!

What is your OS ?
What is your firewall ?
Does it allow ashWebSv.exe ?

Try pausing/terminating the Web Shield and see if that works, if so it is likely that your firewall is blocking it.
