While this is not surprising at all to me, some of you may be affected by this. Read more below ......
Worm lurks behind MySpace profiles
http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1009_22-6095533.html?tag=nl.e622
Some of you may be smart enough (or lucky enough) to avoid this worm for a while but, sooner of later, it will find it's way into your account if it is not stopped. Social networking is an excellent place for malware writers. Thousands of computer illiterates at their disposal and free to boot! They will make the best of it for their gain and your loss.

I would have to say I'm not too surprised either, MySpace has been coming in for some negative publicity recently.

The attack occurs only if your flash (swf) isn't up-to date.
Here's a quote:
Adobe recognized this vulnerability in Flash 8 and fixed it in its latest version, which is why we're urging all members to upgrade to Flash 9," Hemanshu Nigam, the chief security officer of MySpace, said in a statement.
To update the Adobe Flash Payer, use the following link:

Myspace should now focus their attention to myspace phishing (http://www.profilepitstop.com/articles/myspace/identity-theft-and-myspace-phishing.php). This problem affects millions and millions of Myspace users already.

Well then it's a good thing I hate MySpace and have updated Flash.
