Title: Resources (RAM)Used
Post by: schmidthouse on November 10, 2018, 06:34:35 PM
I find it unfortunate that running ASB on my HP Compaq, the Browser uses more Resources than running FF in Sandboxie (which couldn't be more secure/safe!)  :-\
Both Browsers up to date.

Interesting, it's vice versa here (see screenshot).

Yes interesting, but accurate at least for me.
"All things being equal", there is more RAM used on my HP Compaq OS when ASB is used as opposed to when FF (Sandboxed) is used. :-\
NOTE:
"All things being Equal"
Screenshots:
As shown, the amount (%) of RAM used on OS with ASB is 42%
The amount of RAM (%) use when FF (sandboxed) is used is 35%

The RAM does decrease (slightly) on idle with both Browsers, however ASB always shows more OS RAM used

Well, basically RAM is there to be used - it's the fastest memory.
If your system runs smooth, I wouldn't worry about its RAM usage.

Agreed, just found the result (on my OS) interesting.
I maintain a tight ship on my systems and monitor every and all process and development.
This is why I have very few unexpected issues ;)
