Title: Paid Avast Blocked 2 Different Computers from Internet Access`

Within a week of each other, my mother's computer, and now tonight my own got blocked from accessing the internet at all and the only thing that restored access after much trial and error was to uninstall avast. We both have paid accounts. What the heck is going on?

- Which Avast..? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
- Which version..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

If your paid version includes the Avast Firewall,
make sure you're set to Private not public.
