Title: Why does the website think I don't have a license?
Post by: REDACTED on December 04, 2018, 12:55:51 AM
Hello,

I've been a user of Avast for a long time, Free at first, now paid. When I check my licenses through the Avast app on my mail PC, I see my AIS license good until April 2021 and my VPN good until April 2019, however when I click on the link in the app to "Manage Account", it takes me to the website where - it sees my account, but claims I have NO licenses.

Why is this? It's not very reassuring.

(Also not very reassuring that, from that page, clicking "support" takes me to a 404.)

Hi thohi.torok, are you by any chance logged into your Avast account using the same email as you have registered on the forum? If so, the reason you cannot see the licenses on the website is because they are registered to a different email (one that it looks like you may have created on your own domain specifically to use with Avast). The app will let you log in to any Avast account that you know the password for, but will continue to show the licenses activated in the app even if they are not registered to the account you have logged in to.
