Title: Installing anti virus on High Sierra
Post by: m.emdin on December 20, 2018, 06:13:19 AM
I have just installed the latest version of Avast on my MacBook Pro running High Sierra. When prompted during the install I allowed AVAST at the systems preferences --> General screen. I have also restarted my machine.

When I view the Shields screen it is suggesting that file shield, mail shield and web shield are enabled. However under status it is showing that I am not protected.

Any tips on what I need to do to fix this?

would you mind to share a screenshot? Also the "support package" may help - https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Submit-Mac-Security-support-file
