That didn't work at all to restore the closed tabs perhaps you can help me to look into ASB Server if case these files tabs are still hanging in the backup server storage cache?.

You did not see your history of visited sites when you Ctrl+H?  Ctrl+H should give you a list of visited sites and you can manually restore your tabs that way.

What caused your system to restart?  Did you start the restart?  I'm assuming ASB was still open when you restarted, yes?

Ctrl-H displays the browser history, but it doesn't restore tabs. We can open new tabs from the history items, but they will not contain the attributes of the tabs we want to restore, such as the tabs' own histories.

In my case, the system restarted because of a power glitch. The browser opened automatically, but when I selected to restore tabs, they were not restored.

If the power glitch happened before the tab info was saved, there wouldn't be any way to recover that info.

Clicking on
3 dots -> History -> Recently closed -> nn Tabs
seems to reopen one window of old tabs, same as in Chrome if you miss the Restore option, (so presumably if you had 2 or 3 windows of tabs you could click the other nn Tabs to open them too)

BUT

it didn't restore the group names - they all came back not in any groups, whereas before the shutdown they were organised into several.

How do we restore the tab groupings - possibly this was forgotten or still outstanding development work?  It does need to work, otherwise the effort of creating groups is wasted once your pc reboots.

Using the following shortcut keys can also help.
Ctrl and H = History
