I have just received a notification from Avast that my web cam might be hackable and to run the test.
I ran the test. Lo and behold my web cam is vulnerable and I need to buy extra protection.
There is only one problem!! THIS MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE A WEBCAM !!
Come on Avast, if you are going to try to sell services, at least have the technical knowledge and decency to make sure that your tests are valid. The more I see of marketing attempts (not just from Avast), the lower my opinion of marketing people becomes - and it wasn't very high to start with.

Did it state which webcam? Model# etc ??? Information would be helpful for me to report this to Avast. Thanks

Just curious... do you have a webcam driver installed?
To check, run Device Manager, select View->Show hidden devices, and then look under Imaging devices.
