After updating last week, the option to schedule full scanning no longer works, in the settings it is not possible to choose dates and times for scanning. The watch item appears but does not work. The boot scan is also not possible to run, you do not have the option to select scanning at the next boot.

Do you try repair:
Open avast GUI>Menu>Settings>Troubleshooting>Click on REPAIR APP>Follow instructions>Reboot.
