I have a license for Avast Premier but after it "updated", to version 19.1.2360, it reverted to a "free" version losing all the features I paid for. The Premier license is still listed in the list of my licenses but I cannot switch to it! Every time I try, I get the following error message "An unexpected error occurred"
No matter what I do, I cannot switch to my paid license. I tried a repair install, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Avast Premier but the same problem still occurs, "An unexpected error occurred" when trying to switch to my paid license.
This seems to be a problem with the versions itself rather than my computer or my Avast as it was working fine before the update.
I Googled the problem but nothing relevant came up
How do I fix this?

I followed all those steps outlined in the troubleshooting but I am still having issues! I ALREADY said that I uninstalled and reinstalled Avast and that was the last troubleshooting step outlined.
After that, I do not know what else to do! It is VERY frustrating!!! This is a problem at YOUR END Avast!!
I uninstalled and reinstalled MULTIPLE TIMES to no avail!!! If you guys cannot figure this out, I will be DEMANDING a FULL REFUND!!! I

Did you buy from Avast directly or from a reseller..?
