Hello,
I have this problem, where Avast keeps catching this virus called Win64:Malware over and over again for about 20 days now, and I'm not sure what I should i do about it. I added the logs from Malwarebytes and Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. The infected file is wmcodecs.dll and the location is C:\Windows\System32. I think the Avast background scanner is catching it. Maybe you could help me with this problem?

@Sass Drake Just did!
You should attach new files in your reply as that is where he expect to see it ... not edit and and attach in your first post
Anyway now he knows when he see this post
-
You should post Avast logs to new message isntead of editing first one.
Please follow these instructions to access Avast Virus Chest and submit files from the virus chest to the Avast Threat Labs as false positive.
https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Use-Antivirus-Virus-Chest
I pressume it is false positive but...
-
I reported it as false positive, I guess my PC should be safe to use right now?
-
I can't say that for sure. Are you still getting Avast notification for catched malware?
Follow these instructions https://support.kaspersky.com/5350#block2
and attach log file to your post. Log file is located at C:\TDSSKiller*.log
-
Sorry for not answering for a week, I'm still getting the notifications yes, the kaspersky scanner caught 2 threats, I attached 2 logs, not sure which is the right one.
-
What is system status now?
-
Does eny error message appear before reboot?
-
The past few days the computer didn't get any notifications from Avast about the virus, maybe the Kaspersky program finally deleted it ?
-
It seems so.

Alright, thanks for the help!
