Title: Avast is blocking my site
Post by: thereadingplanet on March 19, 2019, 01:37:25 AM
Hello!

I have created a site/blog which is being blocked by Avast.  Could you please tell me how to unblock it?  My site is wxw.be-googley.com.

Hey, I'm trying to access few websites but getting an error that "This site has been Blocked". Is this because of Avast or my ISP is blocking these websites?
Do you see a avast icon/logo on that message?

No, there is no logo but I can see avast running on taskbar side icon.
All messages from avast will have avast name and logo

No, there is no logo but I can see avast running on taskbar side icon.

The taskbar icon (if you mean this one, see attached) is there by default and it is set to animate when scanning.

Just because it is scanning at the time doesn't mean the warning comes from avast.  Some browsers could well be displaying this kind of message, Firefox and Chrome come to mind.
