Hello there!
I have a question regarding the free upgrade that Avast offers after a user sends an invitation install link to a friend and he/she install the software. It was saying that you get the free upgrade from Free license to the Pro Antivirus for 6 months after doing so. I have done it and my friend installed Avast 3-4 days ago, but my Free License still hasn't been upgraded.
Could you please tell me if I need to do something special to make it work or the procedure should be done automatically?
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Ioannis

I don't know if this offer is still in place, but the old one that I recall required more than one user to to qualify for a licence.

Hi, you find the details in the link (red border).

SOLVED
Just one invitation link is enough. The Avast needs to be installed for at least 48 hours by the person who received the invitation link.
Right click on the icon (or double click) to open the Avast user interface, then...
Menu -> Earn Rewards
On the right in the "Your rewards section" press on Claim. Then it leads you to install the Antivirus Pro version.
After you restart the system your Antivirus is upgraded.
Have a nice day! ;) :D
