Yesterday I somehow got to a site called getawesome6 (even though I thought I was connecting to www.shell.co.uk).
Anyhow a quick google revealed it to be malware related so as a precaution I restored my PC back to a drive image taken September 2018.
After the restore and letting Windows and Avast update back to latest versions I noticed that I appear to have 2 Versions of the Avast online security Chrome plugin.
'Avast Online security' v18.4.159 - Enabled & 'Avast Online security (Beta)' v18.5.160 - Disabled.
I am just wondering if the Beta version was real Avast or fake. I have now removed it and a full scan shows clean.

Hi, I'm not aware of any (openly available) beta for AOS.

It seems to be dated February 2019
