In the past four days, I have not been able to use Google when the
licensed Avast VPN is turned on.
This has me baffled, since Google and its search function had worked
flawlessly with the VPN activated.
Chrome is my browser, by the way.
OS is Windows 10.

Hi, Google works for me.
Which version of ASL..?
-
What is the exact error message?
-
Not seeing an issue here with VPN or Google. :)

Same here. I am getting tired of the biased treatment of browsers when in VPN mode. Also, AVAST is more or less forcing or hard selling the yahoo browser even to the point of what feels like punishment when I did not choose the Yahoo browser for default. I have been a PAYING member for many years. Avast is becoming cumbersome and intrusive.

"Yahoo Browser" ???
We're talking Google here (Chrome)
edit: There has been no issues here with my VPN and Google.

Not aware of Avast running a 'Yahoo Browser' but do know the Google browser is sometimes installed by Avast during an Avast install via a default opt-in.

Hello,
we have identified some issues between Secureline infrastructure and Google services. This has now been fixed and Google services should work without problems when connected to Secureline. If the issue still persists for you, please let us know.
Best regards,
V.H.
