Title: Avast sees CA/SEGA new game launcher for games Rome II and Attila as virus?
Post by: anthoniusii on April 03, 2019, 11:59:15 PM
So far i used the Launch icons and those opened a TW launcher.
Today those launch icons opened a new CA/SEGA launcher menu.
When I pressed the play buttons both games Avast isolated as threats.
The older TW games like Shogun II and Empire Total War that do not "open" the new TW games launcher play as intented.
Also i tried to make AVAST to check the two games folders but never saw it do it like it did before. Actually checking never started.
I have the latest updates of Avast.

Can you go to settings > General > Exclusions and enter the game's file path and see if you can run afterward? This should exclude that file path from scanning

Cheers,
