Title: Custom Filters on Avast ADBlock
Post by: noahplemmons on April 21, 2019, 12:54:52 AM
So I accidentally blocked the wrong element on one of my favorite sites and I have no clue as to how I unblock it. I went to custom filters and saw that it was one of my filters but it won't let me remove it or really any of the filters that I've made. I'm getting really upset on this goose chase to find how to fix it, so I created an account to ask on the forum. I want to remove the filter and not have to whitelist that site. Send help.

When you go to the advanced settings on the AdBlock there is an option that says my filters.

Hi noahplemmons,

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you're having removing the filter. There is a button that allows you to delete or edit the manual filter in the advanced settings page - but there is an issue causing the button to be invisible. It is something that our developers are aware of and are working to resolve.

To remove the manual filter now, you need to click where the button should be shown - you can tell when you have the correct spot, as the cursor will change to the "pointing hand". Once this is clicked, you will see the option to delete or edit that filter. Please see attached images for where to click.
