Title: Password for subdomains
Post by: VTL on April 25, 2019, 08:18:07 PM
Hi guys,

I started using the password manager a little while ago.

Is there any support for subdomains? Currently when I try to access a subdomain with a different account, it auto-fills the account data for the main domain.

Example:

I have a global account for my hosting, where I can see and manage all the other accounts I wanna use. (Mail, SQL Database etc) I want to save the main account for easier access, but I also want to save credentials for a mail subdomain.
When I go to the mail dot xyz dot com sub it takes the info from the domain, auto fills, and changes the web address field to the sub as well.

Is there a setting I am missing or was the manager not intended to use subdomains?

Kind Regards!

Here's the information I received from Avast,
"Hi Bob, Passwords doesn't have this capability and unfortunately, it probably never will."

Passwords is such a cool tool but without the option for subdomains it is absolutely useless for company use...

Is there any way to get this to work?
