It eats 7GB (!!) of ram, please fix it or allow to rollback to version that actually works.

No issue here on Win 10 64 Bit with Avast Premier 19.4.2374 latest build installed
Sitting consistantly at 28.5 mb RAM

Had the same problem, but not as much as 7GB, mine takes up from 200 to 300mb, maybe 350mb tops.

This leak should be fixed ASAP.

Mine is W10 version 17134.648, 32bit.

It's not. This computer has two builds installed. One is 64 bits and one is 32 bits. 64 bit build doesn't seem to have the same issue.

Sorry for that. OS is Windows 10 17763.134 64bit with latest version of Avast. ATM I've removed it since can't do anything with 60% of ram taken by antivirus.

Just wanted to chime in that I'm having the same issue. Avast is taking up 400 - 600 MB on my Windows 10 17134.590 64bit laptop. Oh, and I have the latest version of Avast (19.6.2383).

You don't say what Avast version you are running ?

On my Win10 system although on 1803 (OS Build 17134.860), I still waiting on MS to upgrade to 1903 and your OS build is even earlier than mine.

On my win10 laptop the Avast Engine Server (aswEngSrv.exe) is only using 19.6MB of memory.
