Title: Avast got my location wrong. What does this mean?

A week ago, they knew my hometown. Now they guessed and were not even close. I am not in Virginia. What does this mean?

Sounds like the user received a popup showing his "location" in order to sell additional protection.

We'd know more if the OP kindly included basic information such as avast version and build number, os, etc.,.
