Title: Secureline won't Reinstall (Resolved)
Post by: schmidthouse on May 12, 2019, 10:03:29 PM: I was running both Avast Premier and Secureline (Standalone) on HP Compaq Win10 64Bit.
I went back to W 10 default Security to test something. Uninstalled Avast Premier from Control Panel. Then ran Avastclear.exe in SafeMode. (Twice)
Uninstalled Secureline from Control Panel because it wasn't showing up in programs like in the past (Not sure why) with the intent of reinstalling to resolve the missing Secureline entry in Programs.

Secureline now refuses to install providing an internet connection message (Screenshot)
The internet is working fine as I'm here posting.
I still have 6months License and was using on this machine.
Has me baffled. Any ideas on how to get Secureline installed again.

I've attempted install several times and reboots.

The previous attempts, I downloaded from Avast Website..Secureline.

I have a suspicion and am tempted to reinstall Premier. I wonder if uninstalling Avast left an issue with Secureline.
Guess I'll proceed that way so I have info for support when I go that road.
Don't know why uninstalling the Premier installation would mess up Secureline however I remember a year or so ago I uninstalled Avast only to have internet connection issues afterwards.
Will get back.

The only other Securiy software (tools) I have installed on this HP Compaq are WinPatrol and Voodoo Shield.
Neither has ever caused problems in the years I've run them.

Yes that's correct
I have set WF to default settings and uninstalled WFC, that was the culprit!

I now know what to look at if any other Internet issues arise.

Thank you asyn for ur answer. I think wfc is wifi connection. So i get my wifi off and tangering with my phone connection. And its work. Avast secure vpn can download again. 😁🙏
