Title: Avast Mobile Security, Secure Line and Battery Saver or just Mobile Security
Post by: Dr Zyklon on June 12, 2019, 05:38:22 PM
I currently have Avast Mobile Security, Secure Line and Battery Saver on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I've noticed that AMS has a battery save option and a VPN option. Is there any advantage to having all three apps on my phone or is it better to let AMS hand all three functions?

Hi, the Avast Mobile Security's VPN and battery saving features are more basic, the standalone apps have more features and options.

The SecureLine VPN has "Connection rules" - you can enable automatic connection, set networks the VPN recognizes and enables by itself, it shows you "streaming servers" for users who use streaming services like Pandora, BBC iPlayer, etc.

The Battery Saver offers more profiles that you can set according to your needs and preferences, therefore manage and save your battery more effectively (like turning off Wi-Fi outside your home or workplace etc.).
