Title: Stuck on loading performance issues after quick scan
Post by: DavidGB on June 15, 2019, 12:33:41 AM
So, installed Avast Free, then later bought Avast Premier today and let the install update to Premier and install the extra modules. One problem - after doing a Quick Scan and stepping through the results, it gets stuck just displaying 'loading' when it gets to 'Performance Issues'. If I click to close, re-open the UI, and go back to the Quick Scan results again, it shows a red ring round an exclamation mark for both Advanced Issues and Performance issues, but when I step through again and get to Advanced issues it says (in red) '0 issues found, goes green after I press resolve even though there was nothing to resolve, and endlessly loops on 'loading' for the performance issues again. Close, re-open, go back to the results and it repeats the same every time.

Anyone know how to fix it?

P.S. I also updated Windows 10 to 1903 this afternoon after I was finally offered it (before the Avast install and then purchase) and I notice that I am getting the issue of Avast asking me to categorize my home network as home or public every time it re-starts, as reported in other threads here.

Remove Cleanup

Thanks, Asyn - fixed it completely, and I can do Smart Scans again!.

No point leaving Cleanup there anyway as I really can't justify the cost of Avast Cleanup Premium. I use Cleanup Pro on my phone, but the Dell laptop has its own cleaning and optimizing software, and I run CCleaner from time to time anyway.

Thanks again
