Polonus, the tool is safe but it can do *unbelivable* things... even simulate a virus attack, a spammer  :o ;D

The tool is clean. Another links (and reviews) for download are:

I have given up trying to download it, tried Eddy's link (the one on the Net Tools site) and it dropped the download connection twice even got to 10MB of 23.1MB, a real pain in the rear when your on-dial-up. I also tried the one Tech mentioned at softpedia, the weird thing is that download is only 15MB supposedly for the same program. I also had very slow downloads from there and download connection drop outs. So I've given up, some tell me I give up too easily ;D but life is too short on dial-up to continue trying to download a 23.1MB file.

Hi DavidR,

Then on to the computer magazine shop, and leaf through the contents to see if the free CD has it. Isn't there someone to ask to send it to you on CD then?

When are your surroundings beamed up to normal adsl circumstances found in normal sub-standard country or when is the cable man answering your door? It must be rather frustrating to sit behind a dial up slow connection, Write a letter to your county sheriff on parchment, will ye?

David,
I've just added NetTools4.zip to MySharedFiles (http://mysharedfiles.no-ip.org/). Maybe you'll have better luck?  :)

Thanks Bob i'll give it a try later.

Not sure if the page I'm at has been updated, I can't see a category that would be applicable for NetTools4.zip

Don't look for a catagory. I'm not that organized  ;D
Just look for the file. Scroll down they're in alphabetical order.
Use CTRL + F and type in "NetTools" without the quotes.  :)

Had another look used Maxthon this time and can now see a complete list, so it would appear for whatever reason I can't view the complete page with firefox!

I wonder if anyone else has this problem with firefox ?

That's the problem of Firefox  ;D ;D

David, it's not a tool that you need to have... just a 'strange' and very 'powerfull' tool. Polonus is scared and does not test it yet  ;D ;D

The only thing I can think of is either NoScript extension or the fact that I don't allow firefox trusted status, just browser status and when it tries a TCP connect to  URL, port 4445 (a UDP port) my firewall asks permission (4 times), now when I used Maxthon (same browser status) the firewall asked permission 12 times or more, I lost count.

Tested with firefox at trusted status and still only the cropped list I showed above, weird.

Also since no-ip.org uses url masking to deliver an add at the bottom of the page, my AdBlock extension may also be getting into the act. Perhaps it is just a combination of all these and my security that screws it with firefox and this url. I can't remember it being like this the last time I visited the site, so perhaps no-ip.org have also done some reconfiguration.
