Title: Use of chrome or avast browser

Does it make any difference to avast VPN if I use avast browser or chrome browser?

Avast Secureline hides/disguises your 'real' IP address with a 'virtual' IP address as well as encrypts your Internet traffic (data) Regardless of what Browser you use, Secureline will function in the same manner.

So does it make any sense to have both licenses?  (VPN & antitracking)

You can try out Avast AntiTrack for a period of time.  What Avast VPN doesn't cover, AAT does:  https://www.avast.com/en-us/antitrack#pc (https://www.avast.com/en-us/antitrack#pc)

AntiTrack also covers five (5) browsers by default (if all are installed):  IE Edge FF Opera and Chrome.

Avast Secure Browser offers some of the same protection features natively in Private Mode for free.
