Hello all
We have released a new beta version of Avast Secure Browser - 76.0.1581.100 / 76.0.1581.101.
We need your help! It would be great if you can try the new version and provide your feedback. Also if you find any problems, please let us know. Thanks.

Changes:
- Updated chromium to 76.0
- Fixed translations
- Optimized Performance Manager settings
Known Bugs:
- Security and Privacy Center (SPC) icon is on the left side
- When you open the browser after install or update, there is one more tab opened with avast browser website
- new tab page may not be displayed properly when you are offline

Existing beta channel users will be updated automatically asap.

One more known issue, update does not work. Only clean install is posible :( We will try to resolve it.

Hmmm, are you sure about that - I got updated a while ago, so it works for me.

The update might be delivered by different CDN than on my machine.. Yeah, it's possible.. I am glad that you got the update!

Maybe it works in the EU but it's not working here.
There is no Downloader icon to be found.
Nothing has changed since this function stopped working.
The icon was turned off - after turning it on I still can't get it to work.
States no videos available for download on this site (YouTube) ???

Yes, well no in-program update here. Will wait for a while to see if the issue is resolved. :-\

Well unfortunately here, the 'In Browser Update' function is not working.
2 attempts, 2 different ERROR Messages :(

Could it be time to do a clean install of the Secure Browser?
Download the installer from here, https://www.avast.com/en-us/secure-browser (https://www.avast.com/en-us/secure-browser)Download the Secure Browser Removal tool from here, https://download.avastbrowser.com/avast_secure_browser_uninstall.exe (https://download.avastbrowser.com/avast_secure_browser_uninstall.exe)
Save your Bookmarks via the Book Marks Manager if you have custom bookmarks so you can import them when you re-install.
Uninstall Secure Browser via Programs and Features - RebootRun the removal tool, reboot, run the installer import your favorites if you saved them.

I'm going to wait for a few days to see if the issue clears.
As you can see from screenshots 2 different errors which makes me think maybe Server. :)

So, already did a full removal of the old browser and removed all instances of old setup files. Only thing left when I search for "avast" is my license.
I click on the link provided by the OP and it still tries to download the original file and then fails. Seriously puzzled?

Before removing the old version I suggest your save your settings an bookmarks to a file.
I'm port those after re-installing the new version. There appears to be a problem with importing from your browser.
