Title: Where is Password Found?
Post by: david2086 on August 12, 2019, 02:19:12 PM
I am attempting to uninstall Avast free version from Windows10 using the Windows Settings/ Add Remove Program window. Once I click UNINSTALL, Avast gives me the Avast pop-up asking for a password. I do not have this password handy and there is no such password associated with my online account. I have no old emails with a password from Avast.

If I try to find or reset this password online once logged into Avast, I get the message "You have no subscriptions, would you like to buy one"

I have no subscription and my Avast account profile offers very few choices for navigating around to find or create a password. I would like to avoid the process that involves using the uninstall utility and going into safemode as I am having problems logging back in during safemode, as in I cannot.

So if there is any possible way to obtain the lost Avast password, it is my first choice.

Thanks in advance for any tips.
