Title: how to extend my avast free

I got a popup saying my avast  will expire on 12 days . I clicked off and went into the avast program and  do not see away to extend the avast free. I see the page but  my only option is listed under premium upgrade.I do NOT want to upgrade I want to keep free.

Also I think I have the 60 days free trial and I did not ask for that either. Please give me step by step directions if possible.

Thanks it must have updated on it's own or I did it because under subscriptions it says free avast  expires  9/16/2020. Thanks for info though.

Can you tell me how to check and make sure I don't have that 60 days free trial? Would it also be under subscriptions?

when you open avast, does it say avast free at top? ... or right click avast tray icon and select "about"

yes it says free (I never noticed that before thank you)
