Title: Avast mobile security virus definitions update failed

I am trying to resolve an issue with Avast Mobile Security on my tablet. When I try and update the virus definitions it says update failed.

I am running version 6.23.8 and the virus definitions are 190926-00 (26 September 2019). I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 running Android 7.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing app data and the cache but this hasn't worked.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue. We have actually recorded a few similar comments since yesterday, so the team is looking into it right now, trying to find out what is going on and how to fix it asap. Thanks for your patience.
