Title: POP-UPS WILL NOT TURN OFF EVEN IN SILENT MODE
Post by: mrc109 on October 11, 2019, 03:59:25 AM
I am still getting pop-ups with the silent mode enabled. How is this possible?

I am not sure what to take a screen shot of  the little pop up in the lower right hand corner of my screen? I cannot figure out how to post the contents of my clipboard into this space?

1.  You say you are 'still getting pop-ups with the silent mode enabled.
So it would be a screenshot of these pop-ups.

2.  You need to save your screenshot of the popup as an image file, .jpg, .png or .jif file format.

Then use the 'Attachments and other options' below your reply window to attach your image.

I don't think this has been explained very well if the OP does not know how to grab a screenshot.

You can use a third party program like Lightscreen to take screenshots but Windows itself has a screenshot option built in. You just need to use the "PS" (Print Screen) key on the keyboard to save a screenshot of your current full screen in Clipboard. There can be a slight delay so if the AVAST pop-up disappears quickly you might not record it the first time.

With it in Clipboard you should be able to open it in any graphics program using the paste option  ie. Windows Paint or Paint.net, whatever you use.

Crop the image to exclude anything you do not want the world to see then save the screenshot file as a JPG and post that here as an attachment.
