Title: Avast Free Antivirus conflicts with Dead By Daylight PC game
Post by: Rawulf on October 12, 2019, 10:45:21 PM
Dear Avast!

After your last program update the Avast Free Antivirus conflicts with Dead By Daylight PC game.
If i am not turning off the Avast Free Antivirus the game can't starting or crashing after few minutes gameplay.
I feel that is a temporary solution if i must turn off your program every times before play with DBD game.
I think Avast is conflicting with the Easy Anti Cheat program what is the part of the DBD game.

Hi Rawulf,

I am unfortunately unable to reproduce your problem, could you please try to disable just the antirootkit shield? (uncheck Settings->Core Shields->Enable Rootkit detection)

If i am turning off the Rootkit detection (included the Exploit detection), then DBD is working fine.
So Avast needs do something with the Rootkit detection part of the Avast Free Antivirus...
