Hi! Just installed the avast home..4. It does not work!! Why  ??? I tried to change the "resident settings" from default to standard, but it keeps changing back........ What is the problem????
And what should I do?? (I have win98..)

What do you mean it does not work?
What is the behavior or the error messages?
Do you uninstall and install again?
We need more informations to help you  ::)

Well,there is no error message. It just doesn´t work. I still get a lot of viruses im my mail for example, I can´t see the icon on the taskbar, and I can´t change from disabled to standard (sorry wrote default in my last message, but I meant disabled), cause it only changes back. Should I change some settings or.....? :'(
