Title: Can't Install

So I wanted to try out avast and downloaded it, once it installed I tried to open it, but didn't work. I tried multiple times butit also didn't work, I thought I may have been a glitch or a bug so I Uninstalled Avast and tried to Reinstall it, but once I got to the installer It reads "Avast is already Installed, please uninstall the previous version first." But I had Already Uninstalled it. I've looked Everywhere in files but couldn't find anything about avast, Could anyone help me?

Hi,

I also downloaded the package, it starts up and shows the window with the Avast logo in the carton box and then nothing anymore.
I checked: no Avast directory/files under /Applications nor /Library. I also stopped the firewall to make sure.

Correction: I didn't realise one has to double-click on the Avast logo to get the installation started
