Title: Popup blocker seizes the browser - maybe

It appears that when the popup blocker is initiated, the browser fails. After adjusting my settings to allow popups from two or three sites, the problem went away. However, I keep running into sites with popups. I'd prefer to keep them blocked, to tell the truth.
