I've been using the Avast Free Antivirus for Mac for a while now. I am currently using 14.2. A few days ago I updated my Mac to os 10.14.6 and I got an Avast notification that some of my Core Shields were turned off and that I neede to turn them on. But when I went to do so, it wouldn't work. I have read the information on allowing Avast Software extensions but I don't have an option to allow Avast extensions in my system preferences. It has been like that for a few days now and I have no clue how to fix it or what type of risks I could be facing. I would really appreciate any help with this issue.
