Title: Avast Premium Security Firewall - deleting a network profile
Post by: Sbordoni on November 08, 2019, 06:17:34 PM
Few weeks ago, I changed my WIFI sid (ie same router, different name).

I removed any network profile from my W10 wifi settings, but I discovered that Avast Firewall (AFW) has its own profile list.

From its firewall config windows, it seems that it isn't possible to delete a stored profile.

From functional point of view, the only 'glitch' I noted is that the wifi hint window is reporting that I am using the old SID.

In the setting window new and old profiles are both present, and AFW doesn't realize that I am using the new one.

Excluding Avast clean reinstallation, is there any way to remove these old profiles from AFW settings?

Hi,

With the current version, it is only possible with a clean reinstallation.
